Three years ago, an abortion-minded student came to iChoose. We learned that she had an abortion scheduled for the end of the week. Our sonographer performed an ultrasound.
After seeing her baby and hearing the heartbeat on the ultrasound screen, this young woman was still just as determined to have the abortion. She left iChoose that day with the ultrasound pictures of her baby, and we never heard from her again.
Three years later … she walked into our iChoose center. She now has a 3-year-old son – she never had the abortion! She told us that the days before the scheduled abortion, she kept looking at the ultrasound pictures of her baby and realized that she was a mom and this was her baby. She has no regrets and can’t imagine life without her son.
Having her baby was the most important decision of her life, and the ultrasound made the difference! This young woman is grateful for the help she received through iChoose during her hour of greatest need.
