When She Needed Us Most

A young woman sat with tears in her eyes as she struggled with her decision to choose Life. She did not want to have an abortion but was seriously considering it. The support of the baby's father was uncertain from the start. That left her looking to her mom, who was very much in favor of abortion. She was overwhelmed with the thought of being pregnant and truly concerned about upsetting her mom and fracturing their relationship.

Our client advocate listened intently as she cried and discussed her situation. We offered her a free ultrasound, which made all the difference. The uncertainty of whether or not to continue the pregnancy became very clear once she saw the little life growing inside of her! At that moment, she made the decision to have her baby! She was overjoyed and scared all at the same time, knowing that she still had to share this news with her mother.

Fast forward to today, her mom is her biggest supporter! They both couldn't be more in love with this precious baby boy! Every time we see her (and she comes weekly for parenting classes!), she can’t thank us enough for the love and support she received when she needed it most. A reminder of why we do what we do as we serve clients for the Lord!
