Life was good – a promotion, a new house, and good times ahead. But upon hearing the news of a baby, she and her husband felt that another child was not in the plan. Together they decided abortion would be their best option.
After the abortion, she was left feeling devastated and empty inside. Seeing her other children and wondering what life would have looked like with one more child made her cry. She and her husband realized the abortion was a big mistake. Soon feelings of resentment toward her husband began to rise when he no longer wanted to talk about it. Hurting on the inside, she needed help in processing her pain.
Feeling desperate and alone, she called iChoose seeking to come to terms with the heartbreak over her abortion. She met with Jill, iChoose’s Restoration Coordinator. Through this relationship and the Restoration Program, she has begun the healing process.
